When they sensed some insecurity in their relationship, they decided to get married. Stella came to know all these facts and filed a case against Isaac in the Madras High Court. The court has directed her to give a complaint in Adayar Police station.

After enquiries, the police were shocked with the facts they got. Immediately Isaac ran away from Chennai, but devi priya strong in her marriage with him made some efforts to get anticipatory bail for him. Devi priya threatened Stella to withdraw the complaint. Stella knocked for help at the doors of Commissioner's office and the police raided devi priya's residence.

Devi priya instantly fled from the city with her sister and Mother.
